Thinking Outside the Bag

Here are some fun, unique ways you and your team can help give back!

Paperless billing:

Your clients can move away from paper billing and utilize digital, while you donate the savings you generate from printing and mailing costs to a local food bank.

Dress down day:

Allow your employees to pay a fee and wear their most comfortable ensemble, or dress down in jeans for the day, and donate the proceeds raised to a local charity.

Dare day:

Have employees pay to have an assigned employee run their errands for the day (I’m thinking the boss), or, start a collection pot with an established goal that once reached, will commit a chosen team member to a chosen dare. Will it be dying their hair (or beard!) a wacky colour? (Be kind, keep it temporary). Or, dressing up as an elf, tights and all? Or maybe it will be a challenge to dress as a Christmas tree, including face paint and decorations. You decide! Don’t forget to donate the proceeds to neighbours in need.

Gardener, knitters and artists, oh my: | Calling all creatives and green thumbs!

Gather your creatives and green thumbs – collect flowers, fruits/vegetables and herbs from the garden in the warm months, quilts, hats, mittens and scarves from the knitters in the cooler months and pottery, hand soaps or candles from the artists any time of year. Offer these goods for a fee at your office, holiday gathering, or online to your network, and donate the proceeds to support those most vulnerable in your community.

Get in touch with our Communications & Events Coordinator if you want to chat about these or other ways to get involved.
