Community Gardens

Help the Gardens Grow! The Community Garden program, in partnership with Jeffery’s Greenhouses, NRH and the City of St. Catharines, provides gardening space and all necessary items for participants to grow and harvest their own fresh produce.

Volunteers share their knowledge and expertise to support the project with the goal of increasing fresh produce for participants.

The garden program is intended for residents of Niagara Regional Housing, clients of Community Care and those without gardening space who are interested in growing fresh produce.

There are 41 plots located at the Torosian Park on Ventura Drive.
