Community Care St. Catharines and Thorold is proud to be named one of the charitable partners for Tim Hortons 2017 Smile Cookie Campaign alongside the Kirsten French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara!

Community Care St. Catharines and Thorold and Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara invite members of the media to join representatives from both charities to launch the 2017 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign on September 11. The kick-off will be held at Tim Hortons located at 170 4th Avenue South in St. Catharines from 11 am until 1 pm and will commence the week long campaign where participating St. Catharines, Thorold and Niagara-on-the-Lake Tim Hortons Restaurants will be donating $1 from every freshly baked chocolate chunk cookie toward Community Care and the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre respectively.

Across Canada, Tim Hortons Restaurant owners support more than 460 local charities, hospitals and community programs through the Smile Cookie Campaign. Last year alone $7 million was raised across Canada. “There is an incredible opportunity for a significant impact to be made on both agencies and we are equally eager to rally support for this timely initiative” said Betty-Lou Souter, CEO at Community Care.

Residents have a couple options when it comes to getting their smile cookie during the week of September 11th; simply purchase your cookie from any participating Tim Hortons Restaurant in St. Catharines, Thorold or Niagara-On-The-Lake and know that one full dollar will be donated between the two charities OR be a Smile Cookie Champion in your workplace, office or neighborhood and pre-order your cookies! Forms are available directly through the agency websites allowing you to place orders by the dozen at your nearest Tim Hortons Restaurant! It’s the best way to make sure you get your smile cookie!
